My name is Mark. I’m walking 5,300+ kilometres solo and self-supported (e.g. no vehicle support) between the furthest west (Steep Point, WA) and east points (Cape Byron, NSW) of the Australian mainland, via Uluru and the country’s geographical centre. Along the way, I hope to raise awareness about, and offer support for, the mental health challenges faced by our youth. With rates of psychological distress amongst young people on the rise, it’s important that our youth have platforms through which they can openly talk about and take charge of their well-being. This is where YOU and the charity batyr come in! Thank you so much for your support. Every donation helps batyr reach more people, bringing us all closer to a mentally healthy world.
How is the walk going?
